​Booking through this website reserves your room request with a $25 deposit included in the full-fee payable upfront and online. Instructions about office and room use including entry and exit protocol, door code, and other information will be emailed separately. Refund Policy - the basics

This Refund Policy is a legally binding document to establish the legal relations between The Mirson Trust and users of Pennington Terrace Counselling Rooms.

 

Using our services requires payment upfront with a $25 deposit being integrated into the booking fee. Payment will secure a preferred room on specific dates and times. A refund of this deposit is only available before 48 hours of the booked date and time. Refund of the deposit is NOT possible within 48 hours of the booked date and time. ​​

​Request for copy of Public Liability Insurance

Liability insurance can minimise the impact on your business if you're liable for damages or injuries to another person or property. Some businesses must have liability insurance before they can legally operate. Other business might want this insurance if there's a high chance of legal action.

 

Whilst there is not a high chance of legal action at our location, we never know. Therefore, for your protection and protection of the space and to ensure its continued availability, we request a copy of your public liability insurance that is included when you have professional indemnity insurance as part of your membership of your professional organisation PACFA/AASW/ACA/APS etc

1. Eligibility and Professional Requirements

 

All room bookings are limited to professionals in the fields of psychotherapy, psychology, social work, counselling, or allied health.

 

The following conditions must be met before using our rooms:

•  Valid Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance covering the duration of the room usage.

•  Full compliance with all South Australian health regulations, privacy laws, and professional codes of conduct.

 

The Mirson Trust reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings from professionals who do not meet these requirements.

2. Room Features and Location

 

The rooms are fully furnished and professionally serviced, with a beautiful outlook over the North Adelaide parklands, providing a comfortable and professional environment for both clients and practitioners.

Access to Level 1 via outside stairs on Palmer Place

Parking is only available on surrounding public parks. The private carpark dedicated to Pennington House is only available through request to the Mirson Trust.

3. The Booking Process

The booking process involves securing your room use by payment upfront that includes a $25 deposit, payable online.

Once your payment and booking is received, you will receive a confirmation email containing:

•  Protocol for entry and exit via internal door code that is temporary

•  Room instructions and guidelines

•  WiFi access details, including connection to the onsite printer available for your use

4. Booking Terms

•  A $25 deposit is required to confirm all bookings.

•  Payments including the $25 deposit are made upfront through the Booking Pages of this website.​
•  ​Bookings are available on a short-term basis, subject to availability.

•  All bookings are to be made via email hello@penningtonterrace.com.au or through our booking system on www.penningtonterrace.com.au

5. Deposit and Refund Policy

 

•  The $25 deposit is non-refundable, except under the following specific circumstances:

+  Cancellation by The Mirson Trust due to room unavailability or unforeseen issues.

+  Cancellation due to emergencies (medical, professional or family) at our discretion.

 

•  Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled time result in deposit forfeiture.

•  Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may allow deposit transfer to one future booking, subject to availability.

6. Room Use Conditions

 

•  Rooms must be left clean and tidy after use.

•  Report any damage immediately; additional fees may apply.

•  Practitioners are responsible for client confidentiality and must manage sessions to avoid overlap or disruption.

•  No subletting or transferring of bookings without prior written consent.

7. Amenities

 

Amenities available include:

•  A stocked kitchenette

•  Tea and coffee maker

•  Mini fridge

•  WiFi with printer access

•  Tissue Boxes

•  Storage, eventually including locked secure filing

•  Common to level 1: shared accessibility staff and client toilet

•  Therapy and service dogs allowed - water bowls, even the odd treat available

8. Liability and Indemnity

 

•  The Mirson Trust is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of items brought to the premises.

•  Users agree to indemnify The Mirson Trust against any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from room usage.
